Muntada Aid has appointed Mr Hamid Azad as the new CEO of the charity.

Hamid Azad joins from Muslim Aid, where he was the CEO. Before joining Muslim Aid, Mr Azad worked as the Head of Community and International Programmes in Faith Regen UK. He graduated with degrees in Accountancy and Law, and was called to the Bar in 2001.

With over twenty years experience in the international development charity sector, Muntada Aid’s new CEO will be joining at a very exciting time for the organisation.

Mr Hamid Azad said; “I feel very humbled to take on this challenging role. Muntada Aid is a wonderful organisation with its strong root in the community. I am highly impressed with its amazing mission and vision. My commitment is to build on all that is strong in Muntada Aid, such as its award winning programme “Little Hearts” and work tirelessly to make it a great organisation in serving humanity.”
