HIJRAH RIDE
A JOURNEY LIKE NO OTHER
Hijrah Ride is a flagship partnership between Muntada Aid & H&KCC. This annual cycling event is a 3-day long marathon where riders from various parts of the UK cycle from Mecca to Madinah, covering a distance of over 550 kilometres between the two of Islam's holiest of mosques.
The journey symbolises the migration that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took as he fled persecution in Mecca and travelled to Madinah for safety.
The annual Hijrah Ride supports children suffering from various heart conditions, war and poverty.
It is the world's first and only such cycling ride
The fourth edition of Hijrah Ride, also known as Hijrah Ride 1446, will take place on January 2025.
During the first three editions of Hijrah Ride, we were able to raise over £396,000 for projects helping children with healthcare & providing emergency aid to those fleeing war.
The Hijrah Ride’s aim is to support children suffering from congenital heart defects, poverty and lack of education. The Hijrah Ride is a joint partnership between the club and Muntada Aid. We aim to help children regardless of gender, religion, culture and country. If we can facilitate and secure a safe future for children fleeing war persecution and having no means to proper healthcare, we will try to help them in whatever way we can.
If you want to participate please register your interest now.
