Why Education Matters?
When people are able to receive a quality education they can break from the cycle of poverty. Education helps to reduce inequalities also empowers people everywhere to live more healthy and sustainable lives. Education is also crucial to fostering tolerance between people and contributes to more peaceful societies.
Muntada Aid's child sponsorship project aims to provide orphans and vulnerable children with education, meals provision, clothing, hifdh, and healthcare.
Since 2000, the percentage of out-of school children among primary-school-age children has declined from 40% to 22% in sub-Saharan Africa and from 20% to 6% in South Asia.
Quality learning requires a safe, friendly environment, qualified and motivated teachers, and instruction in languages students can understand. It also requires that learning outcomes be monitored and feedback into instruction.
