Bangladesh Floods Appeal
Just £40 Will Provide a Family with a Monthly Food Pack
Over 2,000,000 people, including over 772,000 children, are already affected by flash floods in Bangladesh and urgently need assistance.
As waters rise, children are the most vulnerable, facing heightened risks of drowning, malnutrition, deadly waterborne diseases, the trauma of displacement, and potential abuse in overpopulated shelters.
Local media reports concern for those trapped by floodwaters, facing food shortages and a lack of clean water.
The flooding affected about 964,000 people in Sylhet and 792,000 in Sunamganj, and authorities said they had set up more than 6,000 shelters to help the displaced.
