Best of Luck Farhad
Farhad Mohammad Zaman is traveling to France on Wednesday as one of the UK ambassadors and torch runners to participate in the upcoming Paralympic Games opening ceremony.
He has volunteered with Muntada Aid and other charities to help those in need, but his story has been a personal marathon in many ways.
We managed to speak to him near the East London Mosque before the scheduled departure to Paris.
You can read more about his personal story at
Our volunteers make us who we are.
We wish him all the best.
