Hijrah Ride 1445 Campaign Nominated for Fundraising Team of the Year
Muntada Aid and H&KCC are pleased to announce that our Hijrah Ride 1445 campaign has been nominated for Fundraising Team of the Year at this year’s Charity Times Awards.
The winners will be announced on the 25 of September.
The Hijrah Ride is a flagship partnership between Muntada Aid and H&KCC. This annual cycling event is a 3-day long marathon where riders from various parts of the UK cycle from Mecca to Madinah, covering a distance of over 550 kilometres between the two of Islam's holiest of mosques.
The journey symbolises the migration that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took as he fled persecution in Mecca and travelled to Madinah for safety.
The annual Hijrah Ride supports children suffering from various heart conditions, war and poverty.
The fourth edition of Hijrah Ride is scheduled for Hijrah 1446.
