Muntada Aid's Little Hearts Programme provides free medical treatment to children with congenital heart defects in Asia and Africa.
Over the years, we have provided over 2200 such interventions and operations during 34 missions in ten different countries.
Currently, our team is in Kenya on their 35th deployment. The mission started on the 13th of December and will continue until the 17th of December. On the first two days of the deployment, our team treated 18 children. We plan to treat another 20-25 children in the coming days.
Muntada Aid provides these interventions to children from economically underprivileged families. And, in Kenya, the cost of such an intervention is $8000/child.
We can only provide this level of care because of the donations and support our Little Hearts programme receives from people within the United Kingdom and beyond.
Thank you so much for making us the vessel that is saving the lives of these children.
