The Team UK won the 2nd Sisters Only Ten-Pin Bowling cup, defeating Team Spain on Saturday.
It was a close match, and Team UK won with the slightest margin of just 1 point.
The idea behind this event is to appreciate and celebrate the support Muntada Aid has received over the years from women from all walks of life. It's a family-friendly event, and you are more than welcome to bring them along.
The charity fundraiser was played in great spirit and sportsmanship; however, it seems the rivalry between the two finalists that started during the inaugural cup was back with a vengeance.
Five teams participated in this event, and it was the first time Team UK won the title.
All teams were fundraising for Muntada Aid's Drop of Life project.
In 2021, Muntada Aid constructed 375 water projects in 8 countries serving over 76,000 people daily.
One of Muntada Aid's core values is providing dignity to people we support. Keeping that in mind, we aim to provide clean water solutions to people within their communities and ease off their burden of daily searching for freshwater resources.
