The Forgotten People of Mali
Adam Baree is in her 50s and has lived at an IDP camp outside Bamako, Mali, for seven years. She has three children and had to flee her ancestral village in the north of the country due to the ongoing civil war in the country.
She has very little and no means of income or food, just like most of the 3000 people living at the facility.
We met her during our recent deployment and visited her shelter.
The shelter she was living in with her children had very few worldly comforts and inside felt like a sauna, but this was her life. Muntada Aid's Feed the Forgotten campaign aims to support people like her with monthly food packs.
