Aisha Abdo Ghaler and her family had to flee their home town of Nakhlah after the fighting intensified among the warring factions. They now live outside Aden in makeshift shelters with very few sources of income. Here, she talks about the difficulties and insecurity of young children vulnerable to war and food insecurity.
Muntada Aid has been in Yemen since 2020 providing food assistance to 100 families (Over 700 people) at Taiz Refugee camp. Most of the people living at this camp are from the port city of Hodeidah after fighting erupted between the warring factions in 2018.

Yemen continues to suffer. The recent escalation in violence is threatening the fragile peace talks between warring factions. Yemen continues to remain one of the worst humanitarian crises in a generation.
