Fulfill Your Obligations
Muslims all over the world are bound by the belief in giving to those less fortunate then themselves.
This act of charity, or what is commonly known by Muslims as Sadaqah, takes its forms in many different ways. At times it can be simply sharing a smile or even removing something from harm's way. However, it normally refers to the act of charitable giving.
The Prophet Muhammad (Bukhari/Muslim) said;
“Sadaqah is due on every joint of a person, every day the sun rises.”
Religious dues can be in the form of Zakat, Sadaqah, Fidya or Kafarrah. Each one of them is important and at times obligatory on a grown, sane Muslim.
