At Muntada Aid we believe that if we can secure access to clean water, regardless of their living conditions, we will be winning a huge battle against the life-threatening diseases that millions of people face each day.
Diseases from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.
Children are especially vulnerable as their bodies aren’t strong enough to fight diarrhea, dysentery and other illnesses.

With women and children throughout developing countries collectively spending 140million hours collecting water, we know that there is so much that needs to be done to give everyone access to clean water.
Through our Drop of Life project, we work with many partners to dig thousands of wells in poor communities to reach out to those in need and sustain life.
The Prophet (PBUH) said
“The best form of charity is giving someone water (to drink)” (Ahmad)
